Using the QUEST model, students will explore complexities of one or more themes by making connections, exploring multiple lenses, stakeholders, and perspectives related to those themes.
Students will develop and apply discrete skills identified within the QUEST big ideas.
Students will gain a rich appreciation and understanding of issues by engaging in activities such as:
reading articles and scientific research studies
reading foundational, literary, and philosophical texts
viewing and listening to speeches, broadcasts, personal accounts
experiencing artistic works and performances
Students will develop ethical research practices and abide by the AP Capstone and BHS plagiarism policies.
Students will work collaboratively with a team to identify, investigate, analyze, and evaluate real-world problems; consider and evaluate alternatives or options; propose solutions/resolutions; and present and defend their solutions in multimedia presentations.
Students will work independently to identify a research question based on stimulus material; research, analyze, evaluate, and select evidence to develop an argument; present and defend a conclusion; and produce a multimedia presentation.
