Remember:
• Label everything with your first and last name.
• Your suitcase should also have your first name and parents telephone number on it. Know what your suitcase looks like before we leave.
• We recommend packing items in a rolling suitcase or rolling duffle bag that is easy to manage.
• A backpack will be provided for you as a carry-on, be sure to have only items that are appropriate for the bus trip. Portable electronics will be allowed on this trip during travel time only. The students will not have access to the electronics during the week. (Please make sure all games, apps and videos installed are age appropriate)
• When packing, please make sure to keep some room available for any gifts or souvenirs you would like to take back home with you.
Please remember that you do not need to pack any snacks or food for other than the bus ride. Space Camp does not allow outside food at camp. There will be a variety of food choices at each meal and plenty of opportunities for a snack at Space Camp if needed.
If you plan on bringing back any souvenirs, be sure to bring spending money along with you. One of the Brookfield chaperones will be happy to hold on to it for you for safe keeping. Campers should check with your parents to find out what type of gifts or souvenirs they would like to receive before we leave. Remember, there is only so much space ice cream your little brother or sister can eat!
If you have been taking any medications, make sure you tell one of the chaperones when we leave for the trip. Be sure that all the medication is on your health form that your parents filled out online. All the instructions of use need to be included as well. Space Camp considers all non-prescription medications, including vitamins, as medication. All medications will be dispensed by the medical staff at Space Camp, not by one of the chaperones.
