Meet the Teachers
Kyle Warren
My name is Kyle Warren and this is my eighth year teaching Computer/STEM class at Brookfield Academy. Brookfield Academy has been a huge part of my life since I went here for elementary school. I worked here as an associate teacher in child care and as a summer camp counselor. I am passionate about computer technology and hope to pass on my knowledge and passion to the students.

Rachel Cruz
Ms. Rachel attended Central Michigan University in pursuit of her Elementary Education Degree. She also attended TECH institute in Spain and Mexico for her Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education and Technology in Education. Ms. Rachel taught in the Dominican Republic for four years and is fluent in Spanish. In her free time she enjoys taking care of her plants and traveling.

Jim Cronk
Mr. Jim has been a teacher at Brookfield Academy for over 23 years. He recently moved into the role of Technology Director for the four campuses. Mr. Jim started in the after-school program, worked as a classroom assistant in the Pre-Primary/Kindergarten classroom, taught computers, and has been the Assistant Principal at the Troy Campus. He attended Oakland University and has his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He also has his Montessori certification. Additionally, Mr. Jim has been coordinating the annual 5th grade trip to Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama for the past 20 years.
