What is YCT
What is YCT
The Chinese Proficiency Test（Youth）/YCT, an international standardised test for Chinese language proficiency, assesses primary and secondary school students' abilities to use Chinese as a second language in their daily and academic life.
The YCT is divided into a writing and a speaking test, which are independent of each other. The writing test consists of four levels. The speaking test consists of two levels, including elementary and intermediate.
