Eligibility
This competition is open to ANY student at ANY University in the South East and London region (it does not matter if the University is not a PRME member). See the orange shading on the map opposite for counties considered as part of London and the South East.
Competition Categories
PRME UK has awarded £300 prize funds in support of raising awareness of food waste solutions. The prizes for each category are:
Top Savoury entry - £100
Top Sweet entry - £100
Top Vegan entry - £100
We encourage you to use genuine leftover food (see the 'Judging Criteria' below), alongside commonly wasted foods (see the 'Further Resources' page). You might also use food apps such as 'Too Good to To Go' or 'Olio' to show how you rescued food.
To ensure a fair spread across categories, vegan entries may be allocated within either vegan or sweet/savoury categories
Judging Criteria
The judging panel (our community experts - as detailed on the 'our partners' page) will select winners that adhere to the entry information terms and conditions and:
Originality and palatability of the recipe
Innovative and genuine use of leftovers/commonly wasted food
Simplicity and presentation

State the category you are submitting to - #lovestudentleftoverssweet (for the sweet category) OR #lovestudentleftoverssavoury (for the savoury category) OR #lovestudentleftoversvegan. If you do not include this information, we will allocate your submission to a category.

You do this by EMAILING lovestudentleftovers@gmail.com from your University email address, including if you submit via direct messaging.
