Together you will set some probationary objectives for you to complete by the end of your probation. These should be SMART so that you and your line manager can assess your progress every month until your probation is passed
Your line manager will also discuss with you any training needs that have been identified to support you to deliver your objectives as well as giving you access to the mandatory training programme provided by the Uni.
By the end of your induction you should have a good understanding of:
Your role within the organisation and what is expected of you
How the organisation works
Our democratic structure and governance
The role of the Trustee Board
The role of our elected officers
Your key relationships within the University
What is expected of you in our role
The organisation's Policies & Procedures
If you're happy and your line manager is happy, then your probation should be signed off and you can get cracking!
