Your Branch Committee

A UNISON Branch is only as strong as the committee that runs it, each branch officer volunteers their time to lead your union at Oxford Brookes, and plays a vital role in engaging with our employer on key issues.

Our facilities agreement with Oxford Brookes enables anyone engaging in work for UNISON to take part in officer work and attend training, workshops, conferences, and events.

In return for your time, you'll have the opportunity to work on issues that matter to you directly, to represent and advocate for your colleagues, and to learn and develop. Your branch pays for you to attend training and conferences that you are interested in, and you can build a wide network of colleagues across both the University, South East Region, and Nationwide.
