During the Keynote Matt will share the importance of digital safety in the ever-growing digital world.

This keynote is directly relevant to the following statements from the Primary Computing Curriculum.

Key Stage 1

• use technology safely and respectfully, keeping personal information private; identify where to go for help and support when they have concerns about content or contact on the internet or other online technologies

Key Stage 2

• use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly; recognise acceptable/unacceptable behaviour; identify a range of ways to report concerns about content and contact

Matt Lovegrove is an eSafety and online child protection trainer and speaker. He is a qualified teacher and has worked extensively with children, parents and school staff over many years to promote the safe and responsible use of technologies and online services. He is an Ambassador for the National Crime Agency’s CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection) Command and an Associate Member of Government's UKCCIS (UK Council for Child Internet Safety.)
