Anastasia Tomanek

Anastasia Tomanek is the Director of Brodhead High School Guys & Dolls. She formally directed DeForest Crescendos and completed her Bachelor's in Vocal Music Education at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois in 2017. Her passion for show choir stemmed from her participation both Esprit and The Classics at Wheaton Warrenville South High School under the direction of John Burlace from 2009-2013. In addition to directing at Brodhead, Anastasia enjoys volleyball, golf, and kayaking in her free time. She stays involved in the Madison arts scene by singing with Blue's Artists of the year Kelsey Miles, Billy Joel and the Affordable's, and the Madison Symphony Chorus.

Curtis Wetzel

Curtis Wetzel is the new director of the Brodhead High School Guys & Dolls show band. He is currently in his last academic semester at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater pursuing a degree in instrumental education. He has studied both tuba and voice in his undergraduate pursuits. Curtis' interest in showband directing comes from his thorough belief there is no difference between a vocalist and an instrumentalist. Both are musicians and can make beautiful music, be it separate or together. In addition to his directorial pursuits, Curtis enjoys building computers, taking care of his finches, and taking any opportunity to perform.
