Hi there! My name is Breanna Rush and I am one of four Kindergarten teachers here at Brockway Elementary. Although this is my 4th year in Kindergarten, this is my 15th year of teaching overall. 

I graduated from Brockway in 2004 and from there attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where I was a member of "The Legend" - the IUP Marching Band. I majored in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education and graduated in 2008. Later on down the road, I earned my Master's Degree in Teaching & Learning from Lock Haven University.

I met Mr. Rush in 2008 and two years later we were married. Together we have four children. Jonah is 9 and is in fourth grade. Luca is 7 and is in second grade. and our youngest boy Finn is 6 and in first grade! After three little boys, we welcomed our only little girl, Saylor Kate, who will be turning 5 in October. We just built a new house four years ago in Brockway and very much enjoy living here after having to commute for many years. It's nice to be back to my roots in such a loving and great community! I think it's pretty wonderful that I am now teaching Kindergarten in the same classroom that I myself experienced Kindergarten!
