Classification

national classification

All athletes wishing to be eligible to race in Paracanoe races during the 2024 season and beyond will be required to attain a National Classification. This is a system that is used in order to determine which classification event and status an athlete will attain in order to ensure fair racing. Athlete will need to have an eligible impairment in order to attain a Paracanoe National Classification.

National classification days

Three classification days will be held throughout the year at HPP. These will be conducted by certified classifiers.

Classification events will be conducted at the following times within the year:

12th April 2024

5th July 2024

6th September 2024
