NAMIBIA ENTREPRENEURSHIP ECOSYSTEM DASHBOARD

Introduction

The NIPDB, in partnership with the World Bank and Briter Bridges developed the “Namibia’s Ecosystem Dashboard” in its efforts to provide more visibility on the rising Namibian entrepreneurial ecosystem and active stakeholders. 

The Dashboard offers a non-exhaustive mapping of active companies as well as available entrepreneur support organisations and investors and is aimed to assist active founders in navigating their local ecosystem to access partners, support and funding. 

The dashboard also serves as an entry point for international players interested in learning more about the existing Namibian entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

Data Disclaimer

Briter Intelligence data, available ecosystem databases from active ecosystem builders and support organisations, and complementary desktop research were leveraged in building this ecosystem mapping dashboard. 

The data displayed on the dashboard does not claim to be 100% comprehensive of the Namibian entrepreneurial ecosystem, but a sample representation of digital present and active entrepreneurs operating in the Namibian ecosystem.  

The dashboard was developed in June 2024. The funding data featured in the dashabord covers the timeline from 2016 to Q1 2024.
