Living In London
Year 2
Year 2
Year 2 were treated to a well-deserved afternoon of ice lollies and cricket to celebrate completing their SATs!
Living In London Educational Visit! (COMING SOON!)
For this visit, we took a variety of London transport from school to Greenwich Park. We used the bus, Cable Cars and the Thames Clipper to travel to and from the park. On this exciting route we saw...
The Excel Bridge, The O2, Big Ben, Canary Wharf and the Greenwich observatory.
Go through our pictures below to see what we got up to!
For our music learning, we listened to the song London Is The Place To Be by Lord Kitchener and learned about his life as a person from the Windrush generation.
We then recreated elements of his music, using percussion instruments.
London Skyline
For Living in London we researched how London's skyline has changed throughout history and created a silhouette of the modern London skyline. We used watercolour paints to wash a colourful background and drew the skyline silhouette using marker pens.
We also desgined our own future building for London!
Paddington Writing
Our writing based on the London adventures of Paddington bear!
