& A Better World
Year 2
What a great start to Year 2! We had a lot of fun during Book Week!
We explored the story 'The Water Princess' by taking part in a woosh (drama), creating book marks and decorations for our book areas.
During A Better Word, we continued to learn about water hygiene and how people in other countries do not have easy access to water. We learnt about how the charities Joy for Humanity and WaterAid work to help these people. We raised money for them by doing a bucket relay and persuasive speeches to our families!
We also made water filters and wells to help us learn about solutions in helping those without access to clean and safe water.
