We in this world are confused by love and attachment. But what causes these attachments and how do they affect us in later life? Frayed Devotion is a show that explores this through naturalism, physical theatre and movement.

We follow four teenagers and discover their story. Daniel, buried by responsibilities, puts his life on hold for others until he meets a girl on a stairway and the rubble begins to disintegrate. Tilly, imprisoned from her life by her mothers high expectations and begins to crack, but how can you break free from family? Cassie appears to be reckless and free but is stuck on what was meant to be. A new perspective comes into play and might be the key to unlocking the door to a new way of life. Jimmy, a promising young man, struggles to navigate his way through his teenage life while being stuck in the shadow of his fathers mistakes. From cradle to grave, we are soothed and rocked by attachments, our source of joy and pain, and the essence of who we are. We want to show you the difference between love and attachment. Love gives you power. Attachment sucks the life out of you.
