Starksboro Food Shelf
Each month the Food Shelf provides Starksboro families with basic provisions including meat, dairy, eggs, bread, pasta, and cereal; and a variety of canned goods including vegetables, fruit, and soups. Fresh produce is available in season. The Food Shelf is sponsored by the town and funded primarily through food and money donations from the community along with an allocation from the town. All Starksboro residents are welcome.

The Food Closet is the red structure at the back of the church. It is stocked with nonperishable items which are available 24/7 to all in need.
Monthly Meat & More: The second Saturday of each month the Food Closet hosts a Meat & More from 11 am - 1 pm. This monthly event makes available perishable foods such as meat, cheese, eggs, milk & soup while supplies last. All donated items from our communities.
If you would like to provide a perishable donation for this event, either one time or on an ongoing basis, please contact us.

The pantry is in the parking lot and is available 24/7 with nonperishable items year round. In the summer we also host a garden share for the community. On Sundays, a cooler with some refrigerated items is available. This pantry has limited stock based on community donations and funding. New Community Project Food Share
A program of New Community Project (NCP) in partnership with the First Baptist Church of Starksboro. Currently distributing food boxes in a curbside pick-up model. Food is a mix of meat, dairy, eggs, produce and other grocery items which can vary from week to week. Food comes from Trader Joe's, Middlebury Natural Food Co-Operative, and NCP’s Food Justice Gardens. No sign up required and all are welcome.
