The Blue Ridge Sports Medicine Department aims to provide high-quality healthcare to each BRISD student-athlete through prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of injuries.
Please see our Athletic Trainers during treatment times for all new injury evaluations, treatment, and rehabilitation of your athletic injuries. We are located in the main athletic training room in the Field House at Blue Ridge High School.
Treatment times are Monday through Friday: 7:30-8:10 AM or during your athletic period.
Physical Form - Please follow the attached directions and have a Physician complete the Physical. Turn into your Coach or Athletic Trainer, or email to luke.parrish@brisd.net.
After you have completed the Physical Form, please go to the link below to complete the RankOne Online Forms. These are mandatory for athlete eligibility.
About the Program:
The Student Athletic Training Program provides students with hands-on experience in sports medicine while supporting the health and safety of our student-athletes. Under the supervision of a certified athletic trainer, students learn injury prevention, basic first aid, taping techniques, and rehabilitation principles while assisting with practices and athletic events. The program emphasizes responsibility, professionalism, and teamwork, preparing students for future careers in athletic training, healthcare, or related fields.
