Mrs. Self

I have been at BGS since 2014, and teaching 5th grade since 2016. I graduated from Western Illinois University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education. I am currently working to obtain a master's degree in Reading. I attended Brimfield Schools from Kindergarten through High School and have been so happy teaching in the same community that I grew up in! In addition to teaching 5th grade ELA and science, I enjoy coaching 8th grade girls track.

When I'm not at school, you will likely find me reading, walking my dog, Mya, or spending time with my husband, Dallas, and our daughter, Olivia.
