When disaster strikes, BrightTogether is here to provide immediate support and long-term recovery assistance for families and communities in crisis. The Disaster Relief & Assistance Project is focused on meeting urgent needs while helping survivors regain stability and rebuild their lives with dignity.

Shelter & Housing Referrals – Partnering with community centers, shelters, and local networks to ensure safe, temporary housing.
Volunteer Response Teams – Mobilizing BrightTogether volunteers for cleanup efforts, debris removal, and community rebuilding projects.
Resource Navigation – Helping families connect to government and nonprofit programs such as FEMA, food assistance, and healthcare services.
Financial Stability Support – Providing gift cards, small grants, or emergency aid to cover immediate needs like groceries, gas, and temporary lodging.
Preparedness Training – Offering workshops that equip families with emergency planning, kit preparation, and safety strategies for the future.
Emotional & Wellness Support – Collaborating with counselors, faith leaders, and peer groups to provide care for those coping with trauma.
