Cascade Middle School League Philosophy

The Cascade Middle School League is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and developmental athletic experience for all student-athletes. We believe that middle school sports should provide students with the opportunity to grow physically, mentally, and socially in a supportive environment that prioritizes participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

We recognize the value of healthy competition and strive to balance teamwork and individual achievement in a way that encourages effort, dedication, and respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents. As part of the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA), we adhere to guidelines that promote fairness, integrity, and student well-being.

Ultimately, the Cascade Middle School League aims to create a fun, competitive, and character-building athletic experience that helps students develop valuable skills both on and off the field or court.
