Hi – I’m Kelly, a professional event planner and lifelong dog lover. Years ago, I wanted to do something meaningful for local animal shelters—to help animals find loving homes and support the incredible people who care for them every day.

The inspiration behind it all was our own rescue pup, Bella. My husband Bill and I adopted her in 2009 from a local shelter. She came to us scared, with a terrible skin infection and clear signs of past abuse. Over the next 12 years, she blossomed into our lovable, goofy, food-obsessed Bellaboo. Our event logo even features her favorite treat-dispensing soccer ball—a perfect symbol of her playful spirit.

What began as a milestone celebration for my 50th birthday in 2021 quickly grew into something much bigger. We decided to turn that one-time event into an annual fundraiser—one that honors Bella’s memory and continues to make a difference for animals in need.

We’re now entering our second year supporting TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter and we’re thrilled to announce that the next Bella Ball will take place on March 14, 2026. All proceeds will once again benefit TAPS and their incredible work providing a safe haven and second chances for pets in need.

We can’t wait to celebrate another amazing year of compassion, community, and of course—tails wagging everywhere!
