The UN SDG Scholars is an award program to engage undergraduate students in interdisciplinary research, scholarship, and creative work connected to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The program aims to promote and sustain interdisciplinary inquiry and encourage students to further their education and pursue a career aimed at identifying, understanding and solving the big global problems outlined by the UN SDGs. The BSU UN SDG Scholars Program is part of a scaffolded approach to help students and faculty integrate these elements into the kinds of collaborative, problem-oriented methodologies needed to address our world’s many challenges.
