Communication
Communication between you and your child's teacher is vital to a child's success.
Please message the teacher with any concerns or questions you may have with regards to your student, curriculum, or resources. You can expect a response in at least 24 hours. Class DoJo is the best way to get a speedy reply!
Remind is a way for the 4th grade teachers to send out quick reminders about things that are coming up! Please use dojo for messaging
We are here to support you! Let's work together.
Grading
Please know that we, as a team, will do everything in our power to make sure your child has a successful academic year.
Grades will be based on formative (quizzes/classwork) 40% and summative (tests/projects) 60% of the final grade.
Grades will be updated on Powerschool on a regular basis. Please use your login, given to you by the school, to stay aware of your child's progress.
Attendance
Attendance will be taken daily.
Your presence and participation is vital to your success in our classes.
Please know that you can contact your child's teacher or the school office to report an instance where your child may be absent.
