• All chaperones for any field trip must be SLED-checked by the school!  Please complete now if you are interested in being a chaperone. Link to SLED check forms: https://www.bridgesprep.org/discover-bps/volunteers 

• We also have many volunteer opportunities. You will need the SLED check in order to volunteer this year.

• Communication between you and your child's teacher is vital to a child's success.

• Please message the teacher with any concerns or questions you may have with regards to your student,  curriculum, or resources.   You can expect a response in at least 24 hours.  

• We are here to support you!  Let's work together.

 Please know that we, as a team, will do everything in our power to make sure your child has a successful academic year.

• Grades will be based on summative assessments.  We use standards referenced reporting in 4th grade.

• Grades will be updated on Powerschool on a regular basis.  Please use your login, given to you by the school, to stay aware of your child's progress.

• Attendance will be taken daily. 

• Your presence and participation is vital to your success in our classes.

• Please know that you can contact your child's teacher or the school office to report an instance where your child may be absent.

• Check your Google Classroom for E-Learning Plans in the event that we have virtual school days.
