Geometry

In geometry, students will work on their logic and pattern recognition skills. Specifically, students will use inductive reasoning in order to find characteristics and properties of various shapes. Once they learned these different properties, students will then work on using deductive reasoning in order to prove geometric statements. Geometry also introduces us to basic trigonometry, the study of which we will continue in algebra 2 and precalculus.
