The Grinch on Trial
Whoville vs. The Grinch
During their opinion writing unit, third grade put the Grinch on Trial! Students prepared to be the jurors and watched the movie, read the book, and watched the trial recap (made using a teacher written script in an AI video generator). Students had to decide if justice was served or if the Grinch needs to pay for his crimes. Using evidence to support their reasoning, students wrote an opinion paragraph, expressing their thoughts and ideas.
