Jennifir Cunningham has been an employee at the Bridgehampton School since 2013. Originally hired as Assistant to the Principal, she eventually became an essential employee in the Business Office. Jennifir is well-versed in school building and district operations and also service as Vice President of the CSEA Union. Jen is an invaluable asset to her co-workers. She is always the first one to volunteer to help either with an answer or a task. Her ability to problem-solve and arrive at viable solutions in record time has been a benefit to our entire district at one time or another and is, in general, appreciated by all. We couldn’t do it without her and for that reason, Jen shines above the rest!
Nina Merkert has been an elementary school teacher at the Bridgehampton district since 2000. Her dedication to her students is unsurpassed and she is always introducing new instructional programs and experiences to her first grade students over the last 11 years including the new Zern Math program. Nina has been a founding member, mentor and advisor to the Girls on the Run extracurricular program for elementary girls which continues to involve young students and adult peers in esteem building physical activities. Nina has also served as prior president of the Bridgehampton Teachers Association. Nina’s energy level and commitment to her students is apparent in everything she does here at Bridgehampton and that is why she shines above the rest!
Kelly Harris serves as Director of the Hampton Library. In that role, she has worked side-by-side with staff to open up the world of reading and all the library has to offer our students. Being in such close proximity, walking field trips occur year-round with special programs, along with after school programs that are enjoyed by our students, parents and members in both the Bridgehampton and Sagaponack school communities. Kelly is also on our Strategic Planning Council, providing insight from a different point of view and has also joined our newly organized Business Advisory Council. Kelly has created a wonderful relationship with our students, staff and parents which is invaluable to the District. For that reason, to the Bridgehampton School, she shines above the rest!
