VEI Field Trip- Look at our Professionals!!!

On Tuesday December 21st, the Virtual Enterprise students participated in a trade show and networking event. While at the event, students were able to virtually sell their products to the other students, see what other student companies sold, and network with each other in a business conference setting. The CEO of Culture Crates, Uma Comfort, gave a brief speech on her company and what raffle item they were offering for the day. Ryan Flemming announced the raffle winner at the end of the event. Morgan Watrous was elated to find that East Hampton was using the logo she had developed for them at the last VE event. The students made over $100,000 in sales and multiple connections during the event.

Riverhead Building Supply wants to extend our career opportunities to high school students looking for summer/part-time jobs. In addition, we partner with the community to increase awareness of jobs in the trades and local businesses.

We can offer your students in-person or virtual presentations and resources. These include but are not limited to; how to find a job, applying for work, how to format a resume, completing applications, tips for success, and how to grow with an employer.

We also offer in-person or virtual, tours of our facilities with a chance to speak with the CEO and HR.

We welcome any opportunity to come on site and attend future career fairs, mock interviews, or career days.

Please let us know if you are interested in offering these or another custom program to your students.

Attached is a flyer with links to work opportunities for distribution. Please post on your school bulletin board. If you would like hard copies we are happy to send them.
