Kindergarten Cohort 2 is taking part in Discover Dairy's "Adopt a Cow" program. This week, we received a photo and description of our adorable baby calf who is from Dutch Hollow Farm. Our class calf was born on October 6th and currently weighs 60 pounds. Farmer Nate has asked us to come up with a name that begins with the letter C for her, since her mom is named Cannoli. Check out the attached photo to see some of the names our students came up with! We will submit the name suggestions to the farm and keep the school updated with their final decision, as well as other updates about our calf!
First grade is thankful! Students in Mrs. Federico's first grade distance learning class identified people, places, and things they are thankful for. We are thankful for friends, food, family, our Bridgehampton School, and so much more. Happy Thanksgiving!

As you may have seen on the morning announcements, the month of November is National Gratitude Month. Practicing daily gratitude has the ability to shift us from focusing on the negative to appreciating what is positive in our lives. Research has shown that gratitude can enhance our moods, decrease stress, and drastically improve our overall level of health and wellbeing!

Make a difference in the Bridgehampton School Community.
Join the Bridgehampton School PTO today!
The Bridgehampton Parent Teacher Organization organizes special events for our school and assists those in need in our community. Membership dues and fundraisers benefit all Bridgehampton School students from Pre K through 12th grade. The PTO plans and hosts events like the Scholastic Book Fair, school pictures, Teacher Appreciation Breakfast and all-school BBQs that bring together students, parents and teachers for a communal meal. We enrich the school experience for students by providing scholarships, treats, entertainment, books and prizes.
PTO meetings are a great way to get to know other parents and teachers while working together to make a positive impact. Get involved today by contributing your ideas, talents, and time to help the PTO continue to enhance the Bridgehampton School community.
Suggested donation: $20 for the year, but any amount is appreciated!
