Performing Arts Center Parking Plan 

Addressing parking concerns for the proposed Performing Arts Center is a top priority. State regulations mandate a minimum number of parking spaces within a designated distance, and the architects have designed a plan that exceeds these requirements to ensure ample and convenient parking.

Parking Additions & Improvements:

• Behind the Performing Arts Center: New parking spaces for direct access.

• In Front of the Performing Arts Center: Repurposing the welding/woodshop areas for additional parking.

• Along the High School Front: New spaces while preserving existing trees.

• Current Construction Area: All parking affected by the construction of the CTE building will be restored.

• Expanded Access: Utilizing nearby student, athletics, and baseball/softball parking, with a designated walkway to the center.

• Future Expansion: Once the new middle school is completed, its current site will become a large parking lot, ready before the Performing Arts Center opens.

The Bridge City ISD bond proposal ensures compliance with regulations while expanding parking capacity for all events.
