Nichol Lloyd

3rd Grade Lead

I come to Bridge with 8 years of teaching experience, all of which is in third grade. I absolutely love third grade and believe that there’s no other place to be! I am honored to be a part of Bridge because I have practiced, and firmly believe in individualized learning. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Weber State University along with an ESL endorsement and Utah Professional level teaching license.

My husband and I have 5 wonderful children (four handsome sons and one spoiled daughter) as well as one daughter-in-law.  Although I grew up in North Ogden but have lived in the Roy/Hooper area for almost 20 years! I love spending time with my family and especially love being outdoors. Summer is my favorite season because I love warm weather and sunshine. I also enjoy traveling, gardening, cooking, going to Bear Lake, reading, and watching my boys play soccer. I love being a Bullfrog!

Math teacher

Teryn Ercanbrack

3rd Grade Math

My name is Teryn Ercanbrack. I graduated from Weber State University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a math endorsement in 1998 and taught 5th grade a couple of years. I stayed home to raise my children and came back to teaching in the Fall of 2016. I completed another math endorsement from Utah State University in 2018 and just completed my Master’s of Education in April 2020. I have been working as a math specialist in a K-8 school. This is my Third year teaching 3rd-grade at Bridge, I am so excited for this new year.

I teach because I want to make a difference in students’ lives. I want to help them develop skills to become lifelong learners and enjoy learning. I want to help students strengthen their self-efficacy in mathematics and help them become more engaged and enjoy learning, therefore, increasing their confidence in, and the enjoyment of mathematics. I want my students to know that they can learn and that they have support. Above all else, I want my students to know that they are important and that they are loved!

I have an amazing husband and two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. I enjoy spending time with my family in any way that I can. We especially love to travel and play games.

I have lived in Utah my whole life and grew up in Syracuse. I currently live in Roy, Utah with my husband, four children, a Black Lab named Sky and 4 chickens. We have a senior, a sophomore, and  I am so lucky to have a 5th and 3rd grader at Bridge Elementary. In my spare time, I like to have fun with my family by going boating, camping, and sitting in the front yard socializing. We spend a lot of time  taking our boys to lacrosse games. Our family loves dogs. Especially Labs and we often have a litter of puppies at our house. I also love to scrapbook, spend time doing Family History and learn new things. I have always enjoyed working with kids and I’m so excited for this next year at Bridge!
