Vaccination Information

Vaccination Clinic

The Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District, in partnership with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and their vendor Curative, is pleased to announce we will be hosting a vaccination clinic for all eligible students, staff, and their families. This will be very similar to the clinic we hosted at Bridgewater State University in the spring; however, we will be hosting this clinic on our high school campus.

The first clinic will be offered on September 10, 2021, with a follow-up clinic scheduled for early October. Eligible students, those 12 and up, will receive the two dose Pfizer vaccine. Adults will have the choice of either the two dose Pfizer vaccine or the one dose J&J vaccine. Please see below for full clinic details.

As you know, during last school year many students and staff were identified as close contacts and had to quarantine for up to 10 days and some even more. There were situations where some students were identified as a close contact more than once resulting in multiple quarantines. Students and staff who are vaccinated do not have to quarantine if they are identified as a close contact. In addition, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has implemented a state-wide mask mandate for all school districts until at least October 1, 2021. After October 1, 2021, if a school demonstrates a vaccination rate of 80% or more of students and staff in the school, then vaccinated individuals in that school would no longer be subject to the DESE mask requirement. DESE will be providing districts additional information in the coming weeks in preparation for the October 1st date, including how to demonstrate the 80% vaccination rate threshold.
