Choosing a Book

Remember to choose a book that's an appropriate level; not too easy, but not so difficult that it's not enjoyable!

Ways to Respond to Literature & Nonfiction

Reading Responses are due on TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS on Google Classroom. These should be a paragraph or two in length.

Final Assessment

When you finish a book, take a book quiz on Accelerated Reader. Use your book to complete the quiz - the number of points you get will determine your project grade for the quarter. This can only be done at school, so you can work on it during SSR/IP or during after school help. If you can't find your book on the AR website, complete on of the final responses (see below) and submit on Classroom.

Final Responses

IF YOUR BOOK IS NOT ON ACCELERATED READER, complete a final response. In Classroom, make a copy of your chosen activity and add it to the assignment post to be graded.
