I have been teaching for about 13 years. I love art and when I am not making art and teaching you can probably find me sewing or decorating. I love my family and spend as much time as I can going on adventures with them and teaching our 2 year old Brennley how to have fun and be creative!

Projects Differ for grade level and by the year but the overall ideas are the same! It is all about creativity and exploration and getting to bring our ideas to life!

The Elements of Art are woven in to what we do in each project.

These theories drive our ideas as artists and understanding them will make us more successful with our art and our conceptual thinking/design process.

Supplies and how to use them and experiment with them is at the forefront of what we learn.

Experimenting & learning techniques will build our skill set. You cannot use a tool properly until you learn how it works. We will learn to use them individually & in mixed media

Being inspired by the greats of Art History and understanding art concepts and where they came from are a focus throughout our time together.

Assignments will be posted on google classrooms and students will add work to their digital portfolio/google slides that is linked there.
