BREMUN 2023

Welcome to Brentwood School's BREMUN 2023

Conference dates 2023:  19th-20th November

Theme Of Our Conference

Tackling tomorrow for a more just & equal world

Brentwood Schools's Sixth Model United Nations Conference promises to deliver a continued level of excellence, carried over from last year's success. Furthermore, with the addition of a new Committee 'UN Women Committee' (UNW), our conference strives to disucss current pressing global issues at an ethical and informing level for all.

One of the best parts about any MUN conference is the ability for delegates to submit their own resolutions, amendments and opinions, and to bring forth new discussions and ideas to enlighten both delegates and chairs alike. New allies are formed, resolutions are passed, and knowledge is gained.

The slogan of the UN itself is 'Peace, dignity and equality on a healthy planet'. Within our 5 committees, our delegates will have the opportunity to debate a wide variety of world affairs, all revolving around this main aim. Moreover, these words link in with our school motto 'Virtue, Learning & Manners', as we hope to not only focus on debating important issues, but also to bring together the best and most productive Model United Nations that delegates have ever seen!

And of course, no MUN is complete without the addition of the General Assembly, in which all delegates from every country participating in the conference gather together, to jointly exchange views regarding an interesting new topic that is revealed on the day!

We look forward to inviting you to Brentwood School for an exciting two days of debate!
