History of Spall's Classic Trains
Our beginning was January of 1954 when senior partner John D. Spall was brought home from the hospital and his baby book contained this entry under the heading of, babies favorite toy: "Lionel Electric Train". This birthright connection began a 60+ year love and hobby of operating and collecting Lionel trains.
John and his wife Joan continued the passion and hobby of collecting and operating Lionel trains throughout their married life. This love of trains was then passed down to John's 3 boys. Tom Spall, John's youngest son, has helped contribute to the collection, preservation, and design support of the digital life of Spall's Classic Trains. Thus, taking our family hobby into the 21st century.
John has been elected for the Director at Large - Western Region of TTOS (Toy Train Operating Society)
