To qualify for this elective, by the end of the student's junior year they should have:
Credits to graduate with cohort
Passed all classes
Less than 5 unexcused absences (any class period)
5 tardies = 1 unexcused absence
No more than 2 ISS/OSS
Passed all EOCs
This course can be combined with Blinn Dual Credit or Co-Op to create an extra period.

Prerequisite(s): 2.75+ GPA, Aides are chosen on the basis of grades, teacher recommendations, ability and attitude.
Students will receive experience in various aspects of the operation of the counselor's office. Counselor aides deliver messages to students and teachers, assist with secretarial tasks, help run office machines and other duties as assigned.
