The purpose of the Olympic College is to help senior navigate the steps necessary to make a smooth transition from BHS to OC. Students can sign up in the Counseling Office to join the group. The group will meet 1-2 times per month with Mr. Swanson in the Career Center beginning in December and follows this approximate schedule:

December & January

• Complete FAFSA or WASFA Filing
• Introduce OC Promise Scholarship

January

• Register for the What's Next Transition Tour
• Complete OC Admission Application

February

• Attend the What's Next Transition Tour at OC (4 hour event that includes attending OC classes, lunch, tour and general info sessions)
• Complete OC Foundation Scholarship Application

March

• Complete OC Promise Scholarship Application

April

• Complete Accuplacer Test if needed

May

• Complete SOAR Session (Orientation presentation)
• Complete advising and selection

June

• Course Registration
