Who is Mr.Nielsen?
Great question I was born and raised in Kent, Washington graduating from Kent-Meridian High School in 2003, after working for McLendon Hardware in the lumber yard and as a delivery driver for several years I got my Associate of Science from Green River Community College and transfered to Central Washington University where I got my Bachlor of Arts in Mathematics Specializing in Secondary Education in 2010.
Teaching Experience:
Right out of college I was able to get a postion at Kentwood High School where I taught Geometry, Geometry Support, and Intermediate Algebra 2. I did this for the 2010-2011 school year as a provisional contract I was riffed at the end of the year and spent the following year as a tutor at the Sylvan Learning Center in Issaquah. After many interviews I was hired by the Bremerton School District in 2012 where I have been teaching at the high school ever since. Entering my 10th year in the district I have taught Algebra Support, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus.
What else does this guy do at Bremerton High School?
Great question so I am quite involved with after school activities and you can most likely find me after school somewhere in building. This will be my 8th year coaching football this year I am serving as a Assistant Varsity football coach as well as the C-team head coach, I have been a JV coach for 5 years and hope to interview for the postion again this year. If you go to any of the basketball games this season I will also more than likely be the one behind the score clock.
How to reach Mr. Nielsen:
