An Arts Integration School

At View Ridge Elementary, we are passionate about learning and dedicated to helping all students progress and succeed. As an Arts Integration School, we continue to be committed to providing high quality instruction based on rigorous standards in the content areas (language arts, math, science, and social studies). In addition, we incorporate the arts into these content area lessons to help deepen understanding and learning and devote time to specialized instruction in the arts.

View Ridge educators work diligently to meet the needs of each student we serve. We offer support and enrichment to students through:

• Arts Integration lessons for all students

• Specialized instruction in music, dance, drama, and visual arts

• Title I and LAP Services

• 1:1 Chromebooks

• Google Education Suite

• Islandwood Outdoor Camp

• Restorative Practices

• Social/Emotional learning

We value building positive relationships with students and families and strive daily to provide an inviting learning environment.

Otter Club: The Otter Club recognizes students who exhibit our core values of kindness, responsibility, safety, positivity, and grit.

Recognizing Students: We showcase student accomplishments at our Art and Literacy Night, grade level musical performances, grade level dance performances, holiday concert, and annual talent show.

Family Involvement: Our PTA hosts family night events, such as movie nights and Trick-or-Treat Street. We also host literacy and multicultural family events.
