My name is Kristi Gile, I am the title Instructional Coach at Crownhill, that means I may have many different roles to play at Crownhill. I am a title teacher teaching small group reading. I will be a reading teacher this year for First Grade. I can also be here to support parents and teachers as we navigate this unique learning situation that we find ourselves in. Even though we are socially distanced, I hope you know that we are a team alongside you, you are not alone. I am one of many people who are here and ready to help.

I have been teaching for a total of 18 years. I have taught kindergarten through fourth grade at various points of my experience. I was a reading specialist for 4 years before coming to Crownhill.

I am passionate about helping break down tasks for kids so that they can understand the parts and find joy in their successes. I love learning about children's cultures from them and their families. Teaching has been a gift and a joy to me in my growth as a person and I cherish the ability to do so.
