Here is where you will find general information about your class and resources which will support your learning and experiences. Use the links provided to research the many options of help for your studies, intellectual and social emotional growth. 

This past summer I became rested and rejuvenated after I went swimming in our local bay, read books (In the Heart of the Sea, Why We Sleep, Northwind and a few more!), went traveling ( to Norway and the Oregon Coast), socialized (with cousins and friends), spent time volunteering at an arts festival (with local youth) and yes, I was in school too ( I took classes to study more about how we learn).

Middle School can be a rewarding and fun experience and it can also be  awkward and hard. I will do what I can to support you by providing a nurturing place, where you can challenge yourself with new skills and grow new friendships.  There are different spaces and tools I provide in our indoor and outdoor classrooms which support this effort. We all have a role in creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone thrives toward their accomplishments. How can you help create an environment where you and your classmates share curiosity about learning and feel ready to work hard to become the best you can be at new skills? I look forward to hearing your ideas. I have found in my teaching experience that students often have the best ideas!
