About Mrs. Hogue

I attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, and earned a Bachelor's degree in English with Secondary Education Certification in 2008, then earned my Masters of Education in Learning and Technology in 2020 from Western Governor's University. I also completed my National Board Certification in 2013 and recertified in 2022. This is my sixteenth year with the Bremerton School District. I have taught nearly all levels of middle and high school English and AVID Elective. This is my second year in the library!

On the personal side, I have been happily married for eleven years. In April 2015, my wonderful daughter, Caroline, was born. In October 2019, we welcomed Theodore to our family. We have two cats named Judy and Elroy, and a dog named Astro, and they are the real owners of the house. I am extremely lucky to get to work with my sister, Mrs. Faxon, and live close enough to her to dote on my nephews, Felix and James. When I am not teaching, I love to do as many crafts as possible, read, and spend time with family.
