RCX Virtual Tournament 2024

Welcome to the RCX Virtual Tournament 2024!  

The Virtual option will follow all of the same rules as a regular competition including, no talking from the coaches during the 3 minute round, nothing allowed at the table that isn't lego based (ex. No paper with a list of missions),  and no resetting of the table once the time starts.   There will NOT be a Mystery Object this year.

If you choose to use the video option, it MUST be one continuous video that includes the following  elements:

1) Teams Must introduce themselves with a Team Name, School Name, and Grade Level (Elementary, Middle, or High)

2) The Camera should positioned as high above the table as possible to give the judge a bird's eye view of the whole field.

3) At the end of the 3:00 minutes, the team captain should take the camera around to all scored missions to give the judge a better view of what scored and didn't score. (If it can't be verified as clearly scoring on the video, it will NOT count)

4) Completed videos need to be uploaded to  https://photos.app.goo.gl/DAJV2uzTk7VRVoym7 by the 6pm CST on March 15th.

If you choose the Live Virtual option, you must do the following:

1) Schedule a time to compete live by emailing jeremy.stone@breck.kyschools.us on the afternoon of Monday March 11- Friday March 15.  Preferably after 3pm Cst, but I will be as flexible as possible.

2) You will join via Google Meet and your device needs to be mobile enough to move around and give the judge a closer look where necessary.

3) Once your 3 minute round has ended, we will talk through the score sheet just like we would at a live event.
