** To access the applications, you must use a Google account/email associated with Breckinridge County Schools. **
**Links may take you to a website, a Google Doc, or a PDF**
When you click on the scholarship title/link, you will be prompted to make a copy. Click Make a Copy and save it to your Google Drive. After completing an application, it will need to be printed. If you can not print the applications at home, we can help you print them at school. You will need to go to the counselor's office and share your applications with Mrs. Dowell or Mr. Lovell.
Be sure to follow all directions and complete all parts of the application. Most, if not all applications, can be downloaded, typed, and saved in Google Drive. If it is a PDF, you can get a Google Add-on in order to type on it. Scholarship committees have told us that they prefer that the applications be typed, rather than hand-written. Therefore, it is in your best interest to find a way to type the application, then print it. If you must hand-write them, make sure you do it as neatly as possible.
Pay attention to deadlines. Most of the scholarships have an April 1, 2026 deadline. However, some may be due before that date. The deadline will be at the top of the application, so please pay attention to that.
If a scholarship requires a transcript, the Guidance office will take care of printing it for you and attaching it to your application when you turn it in. If letters of recommendation are required, it is your responsbility to make sure a copy of those are turned in with your application. Also, do not wait until the last minute to ask someone to write a letter of recommendation for you.
