Happy New Year!
Tech Trainings:
I hope everyone has had a wonderful break. As the new semester begins, it's a fresh start to think of ways to use technology in the classroom. One of the neat platforms that I've recently found is Genially. This tool is an interactive presentation tool that you can use to create breakout rooms, class games, infographics, and interactive presentations. I am still exploring all of the endless ways you can use this in your classroom or even have your students use it as well. (The paid Ed Tech Programs Infographic posted below was created using Genially)
Classroom Observations and Coteaching
I loved stopping into many of your classrooms last semester. It was great to see the various teaching styles of all of you fabulous educators. I would love to continue doing this. The more I am familiar with your teaching style, the more I can share relevant resources and helpful tips with you.
Additionally, I love collaborating with all of you on student project ideas. So, if you have a unit that you want to brainstorm ways for your students to demonstrate their knowledge of the material differently using technology, let me know! Some student project ideas that you might be interested in are building digital escape rooms, Google Sites, Google Earth presentations, podcasting, short films, and many more.
A variety of tech tips and tools that you can integrate into your classroom.
Check out this new way students can improve their executive functioning skills with Today! Now, students are able to plan when to complete all of their assignments from Google Classroom. Today integrates with Calendar by creating and event alongside the student's extracurricular activities.
Teachers can either send an invite to all of their students OR students can self enroll.
