Founder/Clinician
I want to be able to serve all women needs, but more specifically women of color. I want to help first generation immigrant women because the struggles and challenges are unique. It is very difficult to find a therapist who has also experienced the generational/cultural views that often impede on our growth. It is very troublesome when we are trying to stay in tune with our cultural values while being modernized by American culture. First Generation Immigrants often feel the struggle of maintaining a balance and feeling inadequate because of unique morals.
I am offering telehealth services to support clients where they are. Sometimes we give up on helping ourselves because of time or lack of motivation. Telehealth services allow you to be in the comfort of your own home while gaining support and clinical expertise from me. I am assertive with my clients but meet them where they are to achieve attainable goals.
Your challenges are unique and don't let others make you feel inferior because of them. I want to help support you in your struggles and successes. I want to help others gain insight and resources to best support themselves to be successful in life.
My current population I serve is women of color and maternal mental health needs. I want to help women feel empowered and have the courage to advocate for themselves. The glass ceilings were meant to be broken! My ideal client is someone that is willing to put in the work to help make changes in their own life. Anyone can come and talk for one hour a week, but the real effort and magic happens when you're able to take the information learned in therapy and add it to your everyday life. It's amazing to see clients use their insight and reframing to make changes in their day-to-day life.
I am a graduate of Temple University and University of New England. I completed my graduate program while being a fulltime mother and military spouse. My focus pre-COVID was primarily children/teens, but I now found my love in working with women via telehealth. COVID helped me realize how much we all, especially parents, need help and support. Working through telehealth, while I had two kids home with me, and pregnant I saw how much more my love of this field was shifting towards women's needs.
I am aware that clinical therapy is not for everyone, and I also offers life coaching services to mentally healthy individuals that may need support with an accountability partner, follow through with tasks, and overall assistance in achieving goals (coaching services not covered by insurance). I can assist with lifestyle changes, habit changes, and identifying various goals.
