The Bear River Career Development Advancement Program strives to offer a program that fits the needs of our citizens. The first path to success is entered into by becoming employed with Bear River. This path offers on the job training opportunities along with guided career and education treks specifically designed to match the existing experience and education of the individual through a team that is assembled to support and mentor the participant into the future. Space is limited based on participation load. This trek is called the "CAP mentorship".

Applying for Self Study is offered to those who would like a self paced and more hands off approach to career advancement. This path is most suited for Bear River Members who prefer to work outside of the Bear River Government or it's entities. An education and training path is assembled by the Tribal Preference Department in collaboration with the Higher Education Department. This trek is self managed by the individual. This trek is called the "CAP Self Study".
