2026  Nutmeg Challenge!!  

Nutmeg Timeline!

June 2025 - April 2026 

• READ, READ, READ!

• Complete the Nutmeg Book Recording Form found on the Library Learning Commons’ website (WIS homepage > Library Learning Commons (left side)). Complete one Nutmeg Book Recording Form for each book read.  

November - April

• Each book read and form submitted qualifies as one “ticket” for a monthly prize.  Prizes may include books, Scholastic Book Fair coupons, and more!  

• Students not selected for a monthly prize will be entered into the next month’s prize selection.

• Participants who read at least 3 (three) 2026 Nutmeg Nominated books and have completed a Nutmeg Book Recording Form for each book will be invited to vote.

May

• Final prizes will be given

• Challenge:  A special award will be given to any participant who reads all 10 (ten) 2026 Nutmegs within his/her grade bracket and completes a Nutmeg Book Recording Form for each book.

• The Language Arts teacher with the highest number of books per student will receive a prize!
