Science

Dear 7-2 Students and families,

We wanted to give you an overview of what you can expect from 7th grade science.

We will be following the Next Generation Science Standards and focusing on the Science and Engineering Practices as we move through the units.  Objectives are posted visually daily and referred to often as well as the target skill being focused on for the lesson.  We use a collaborative approach to learning with lots of different methodologies, but the assessments are independent to best track progress.  Each student is encouraged to take charge of their own learning and make use of all the resources provided to them with our guidance and assistance.

We will be using google classroom to communicate assignments to the students and Goggle sites to communicate assignments to the parents. Assignments that are posted on google classroom will be given due dates.

 *Please note, any students who post inappropriate comments in google classroom may have their account ‘muted’ to their peers, their comment deleted, and parents/guardians, administration, and guidance will be notified.
