About Me

My family consists of my husband Mark; my daughter Ashlee, who graduated from Olivet College and also graduated from Trine University with a doctorate in Physical Therapy; and my son Nickolas, who graduated from Western Michigan University with a Mechanical Engineering degree. My family has grown over the years. My daughter got married in November of 2021 and had a baby boy, Gabriel (Gabbe), in April of 2022. My son is getting married in June of 2025.

This is my twenty-sixth year teaching in the Brandon School District. I earned my bachelor's degree from Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan, and my Master's in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College.

As a parent of school-age children and a teacher, I have experienced the same concerns you may have about your son/daughter's education and achievements in the classroom.

Teaching is more than just a job to me. It is a commitment I take very seriously. One of my goals for this year is to build a community of learning for my students so they may reach their personal potential.
